RoboTailor.com
Our Thinking
Why I include RoboTailor.com at PremiumBrands and how I assess ideas for businesses built online.
PremiumBrands.com is where I offer selected domains with enough context to consider their possible use. As its founder, I see RoboTailor.com as a name that puts a technical direction beside a familiar craft. The starting point is the work a customer would actually want done.
My background with a business name
I acquired i-Newswire.com in 2007. In 2015, I upgraded the business to Newswire.com. The experience shaped my attention to how a name introduces a company and gives people a destination they can recognize. That relationship matters whether the offer is information, software or a physical product.
When a name combines a technology with an established service, I want its explanation to stay concrete. Tailoring involves fit, fabric and the person wearing the garment. A founder should be able to describe which of those decisions the product helps with before discussing broader plans.
Showing what a first version can do
RoboTailor interests me as a starting identity, but a demonstration would need to show the actual job. A small fitting workflow or a focused order interface can make an idea easier to discuss. The next useful question is what the customer can do with that version.
My belief is that AI makes early websites and software prototypes more accessible to people with relevant knowledge. It offers another way to explore the customer journey. It does not establish that a machine handles every material or that a garment will fit without review and adjustment.
A supporting development studio
The strategy and development studio supporting my work is OnlineBusiness.com. It helps provide context for the presentations at PremiumBrands, where I offer the domains. A future owner brings the operating plan and the decisions needed to turn a possible direction into a business.
